Cancellation

You will be covered for cancellation if any member of your party has to cancel due to;

1. The death or disablement by bodily injury, illness, pregnancy or quarantine of (a) yourself, (b) any person you are intending to stay with, (c) an immediate relative of any person you are preparing to travel with or (d) a close business associate.
2. You are called for jury service or as a witness in a court of law.
3. Your redundancy or the redundancy of any person you are preparing to travel with. Any instance of redundancy, you must inform us in writing immediately.
4. Your home or place of business being made uninhabitable, up to 14 days before the start of your trip, due to bad weather, natural disasters, civil commotion, malice damage or burglary.

You are entitled to claim for any loss of personal accommodation or transport costs which were booked/purchased prior to your departure from the UK.
You are covered to claim for any loss of ski hire, ski school or lift pass costs only if the additional winter sports premium is paid.
You are only entitled to claim if cancellation is necessary and unavoidable and not just because you are disinclined to travel.
